Pick Up The Fork

A Serious Eater's Guide to Buenos Aires and Beyond

Attention All Chili Cooks!

Posted on June 9, 2011 5 Comments

Put on your best apron (because isn’t that what chili cooks wear?) and grab your spices because here comes the first annual Buenos Aires Chili Cook-Off on Sunday, July 3rd, 2011! Get together with expats and locals to make new friends and taste some mighty fine home-cooked chili.  All are welcome, especially if you want to show off your chili making skillz and become a contestant.  All proceeds will be going to charity and should be a grand old time.  If you are interested in cooking, eating and / or mascoting, join the facebook group for updates.

Put on your party pants, this will be THE (only) expat chili event of the year!

Saludos, Frank

I’m really glad the rules won’t be so strict–that means possum and armadillo are fair game…
