Spicy Quinoa & Lentil Salad

Ever since I found quinoa at one of my favorites dietéticas, I’ve been cooking it like madness.  With the inspiration of the NYTimes recipe for spicy quinoa, cucumber and tomato salad, I thought I’d try my own version.

Read the ingredients listed in many of the favorite Argentine juice brands, and you will have a tongue-twister of Spanish chemicals to pronounce.  Packed with cavities, rainbow colored dyes, and all around artificialness, it is almost impossible to find a natural alternative.

You say catsup, I say ketchup, they say “catchup.” This ice cream brand sounds like something my grandmother would lovingly say to me in Yiddish. Yo barfeo. Tú barfeas. Él/Ella barfea. Ellos/as barfean. Nosotros barfeamos.

Buenos Aires food prices soar with no food to buy

Reports have shown that food and drink prices have risen an average of 3.5% in the last 15 days in February. Most notably, meat has risen 18% and fruit and vegetables 10%. This didn’t really make a difference because there was no food to buy anyway.
